Is the pig chase video a meditation on Man's relation to God
More fuel the great PR for Pigs discussion - a fantastic stop-motion film using photos travelling across a guy's house. Pig chased by wolf boy - we feel sympathy for the pig - poor piggy, hounded and harried! Then the final moment takes it somewhere completely off the map and... I'm left feeling all weird and unsure about pigs again. Are they in fact supernatural beasts?
So what's the Pig PR message here? The obvious one is, of course: don't mess with the pig - the pig will fuck you up, man!
But maybe this short film reaches a little further than that - does this film not, in fact, suggest that god is a pig? Are we all not just wolves chasing the pig (god) for answers, for self-affirmation, only to discover in the end that god is a giant pig with no intention of playing fair?

Yep. Pretty deep stuff from Pig PR there, I think you'll agree. I think we'll all sleep a little less easily in our beds with that thought rattling around the brain pans. Not sure it'll stop me still wishing I had a Wake 'n' Bacon come the morning mind you...
